My Friend's Beautiful Wedding
Mike and Cheryl - The Knot Ah, it was a great wedding for my friends - Mike and Cheryl. I want to wish them the best with love and happiness in their lives. I wished my camera didn't break on this night. I took many picturs when all of sudden, my camera fails to save or read any thing on the smart media cards..arrrrg.
Back to the wedding, it was an impressive night full of booze and partying. Girls were tearing up, and guys were drinking it up. It was great times to be had by all. Knowing my wedding is coming in les than 3 months, there were many creative ideas that i saw that night: a special day of the pair's life that labeled each table instead of the traditional numbering system; putting for kisses but if you miss, you donate to their travelling funds (this is on a golf course); a picture slide show of the couple and their lives growing up.
The speeches were also great. Mike Roth (Best Man) gave an exemplary speech that was both entertaining and thoughtful. Rebecca (Maid of Honour) gave all the girls a tear jerker of a speech. It was very moving I have to say. Overall, i enjoyed myself. I wished i could have danced a bit more, but my fiancee is exceptionally shy. I thought i should do the right thing and stick by her side. What can i say, i am the perfect boyfriend!
I only hope our wedding will go as smoothly as theirs.
Now my search for a new camera starts today! Wish me luck.
